58 Guide Number

With a guide number of 58 (ISO100, 105mm), the VK581 offers decent lighting output for studio portraits, outdoor portraits and general purpose indoor photography.

1/8000 High Speed Sync

For added versatility and suitability the VK581 will sync with shutter speeds up to 1/8000. Using the flash as a fill light in the bright midday sun, or freezing ultra-fast action is easy and provides much greater exposure versatility than flashes that will sync no faster than 1/250.

TTL Compatibility

TTL functionality ensures accurate automatic exposure. Flash output can be controlled manually for greater control and an improved ability to create special lighting effects. The output can be adjusted +-5EV in 1/3 EV increments.

24-105mm Flash Zoom Range

A flash range covering 24-105mm ensures consistent results, with automatic zoom control constantly updating the distance and power output accordingly.

Manual Flash Zoom

The flash zoom can also be controlled manually, allowing you to fix the zoom at 20mm, 24mm, 28mm, 35mm , 50mm, 70mm, 80mm, 105mm whilst maintaining compatibility with full frame and crop sensors.

Includes Built-in Diffuser & Bounce Card

An included built-in diffuser and bounce card adds additional light control, helping to soften shadows for a flatter light profile or increasing the wide-angle coverage of the flash output.

Optical Slave Mode Compatibility

Slave mode compatibility enables you to optically trigger the VK581 wirelessly. Handy in multiple flash setups the included mini stand ensures freedom and flexibility in terms of mounting possibilities, while ensuring the output is directly exactly where it is required.

Front & Rear Curtain Sync

The VK581 is also equipped with front and rear curtain sync, delivering additional versatility when using the flash at slower shutter speeds.
