TTArtisan AF 56mm f/1.8 Lens for Sony E Mount - Black

A lightweight prime lens perfect for portraiture, the AF 56mm f/1.8 from TTArtisan is made for APS-C Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, offering an 84mm full-frame equivalent. Its bright f/1.8 aperture ensures excellent performance in low-light settings. With a minimum focus distance of 50 cm, it uses a stepping motor for quick and quiet autofocus. One extra-low dispersion (ED) element helps minimise colour fringing and chromatic aberrations, delivering clearer and more accurate colours.

Optical Lens Construction

The optical design includes ten elements in nine groups working together to reduce dispersion and chromatic aberration. Among these are an ED and two high-index elements.

Eye Detection

The focusing accuracy provided by eye detection makes it easy to capture images while ensuring your subject is in focus. This is also beneficial for tracking your subject while shooting video, ensuring smooth and in-focus footage.

Lens Design

The lens barrel and mount are made from aluminium, contributing to its durable, yet lightweight construction. A built-in USB-C port allows for firmware updates.
