15 Elements in 9 Groups

The lens optical construction is formed from 15 elements arranged in 9 groups to provide superior quality image results with fine details. 3 Super-Low Dispersion elements help control chromatic aberrations, while an Aspherical element reduces distortion. This results in photos with excellent colour reproduction, contrast, and sharpness right across the frame.

Anti-Reflective Lens Coatings

Tokina has applied their newly developed ELR (Extremely Low Reflection) coating to the Opera lens series. Designed to direct the visible light spectrum as it enters the lens, it helps reduce reflections, ghosting and flare. This makes a huge difference when working in or around strong light sources.
