Bright T1.5 Lens

Boasting a light transmission rating of T1.5, the 85mm Cinema Vista has an impressive low-light capability as well a stunning narrow depth-of-field. The combination of the mid-telephoto focal length with a wide 9-bladed iris creates a super soft fall off that gives subjects in focus a heightened presence in the frame.

8K Resolving Power

With state-of-the-art optics, the prime lens has 13 elements meticulously arranged in 10 groups to render a breathtaking level of detail that is perfect for 8K cameras. Aspherical elements combined with multi-layer coatings correct chromatic aberrations and control lens flare to ensure the highest quality image production is possible.

Professional Controls

Clearly marked focal distance measurements on the barrel can be easily view from either side of the lens and the iris and focus gears have a long throw that makes it easier for operators to make subtle adjustments. A consistent 114mm front diameter and internal focusing means you can set and forget your matte box without adjusting when swapping lenses or pulling focus.

Full Frame Image Circle

The Tokina Cinema vista lens range has an impressive image circle which can cover full frame sized sensors along with super 35mm, VistaVision, and micro four third format sensors. This makes the lenses perfect for FF35, VistaVision, Red Dragon 8K VV cameras and more.

Virtually No Focus Breathing

A carefully designed parfocal optical construction controls image shift when pulling focus so that focus breathing is virtually non-existent. This ensures you can capture footage with more subtle changes in focus that don’t distract your audience.
