Originally created for time-lapse photographers and packed with video features, the Genie system has been completely re-designed from the ground up to provide even better performance for video shooters and more control for time-lapse photographers. The new supercharged motor is quieter and can support a payload up to 7.5kg for horizontal movement and 5kg for vertical movement.

Live-View with Wireless Camera Control

The updated Syrp app allows you to have extensive control over not just the movement of your shot but also camera settings like ISO, aperture and shutter speed. This means that using the built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C ports, you can modify your exposure or depth of field on-the-go, even when your camera’s out of reach. Not only can you change settings, but the app can also show you a live-view of your shot, so you can double check your exposure and framing.

Keyframe your Movement

A fantastic new feature that has been added to the Syrp app is the ability to program camera movements using keyframes. This allows you to set the course or speed of the movement and program in changes at specific times or positions, so you can capture more complex and cinematic motion.

Bulb Ramping and Time-lapse Compile Preview

It is easy to see why time-lapse photographers love the Genie system, because Syrp continue to deliver super useful features like the compiler that can generate a time-lapse preview on-the-fly with the Syrp App. The Genie II even has an automated bulb ramping mode that is perfect for holy grail sunrise or sunset time-lapses. Unlimited Tracking
