Hypercardioid Polar Pattern

Through the use of sound interference technology and the hypercardioid polar pattern the D2 mic captures audio directly in front of it. It is very sensitive to directional audio (-32dB±3dB) and and safely attenuates off-axis sound (-18dB) for an excellent sound pickup effect.

Solid Brass Body & Professional Construction

The CNC machined solid brass construction ensures a durable product with a maximised reduction in interference; making this the perfect option for outdoor audio recording with crisp audio.

A speckled black finish means that you can use the mic normally even in rain and no light will be reflected off the mic for distraction free filming.

Ultra-flat Frequency Response

With a frequency response range of 20Hz-20KHz the audio range collected is considered ultra-flat. The SYNCO D2 outputs all of the frequencies that the human ear can hear for a natural sounding audio.

The unit in itself if extremely low self-noise and well protected, with a gold-plated XLR connector for maximum quality. Easily mounted on tripods, boom poles, studio arms and other accessories the Mic-D2 is extremely versatile. It is compatible with a range of devices and this connectivity is further extended with a range of optional adapters. A simple XLRM-XLRF adapter will allow it to plug into most professional grade camcorders with XRL ports.

The unit is low self noise, with a floor at just 12dB (A-weighted), 24dB (CCIR 268-3). A signal to noise ratio (SNR) of 80dB ensures you get a maximal amount of audio signal with minimal extra background noise.
