The Sony FA-WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander provides reliable control over your multi-flash lighting setup. It is designed to be compatible with the Sony FA-WRR1 wireless radio receiver and the system is able to control up to 15 receiver units in 5 groups with a working range of up to 30 meters. With a user friendly design the radio commander allows you to spend less time setting up and more time exploring creative light design.

Multiple Wireless Flash Photography

Create complex lighting setups and control them easily with the Sony FA-WRC1M wireless radio controller. A single commander unit attached to a camera can be paired with multiple FA-WRR1 radio receivers and can trigger as many as 15 flash units organised in up to 5 groups. Flashes can be triggered from as far as 30 meters away for a more versatile lighting setup.

Off-Camera Flash Control

The Wireless Commander lets you remotely modify your flash settings such as adjusting exposure compensation, changing flash power from and using zoom. Individually change these settings for each flash or group for better lighting control.

Remotely Control Multiple Cameras

Simultaneous shutter release can be achieved using the remote shooting system, by mounting the commander to a master camera and a FA-WRR1 receiver to up to 15 other cameras that can be trigged via a multi terminal cable (sold separately). This allows you to simultaneously shoot one subject from multiple unique angles.

Reliable Radio Transmission System

Using a wireless 2.4 GHz radio control overcomes the limitations of an infrared system and provides a consistent shooting experience at any time of day. Radio signal triggering works indoors and outdoors even in bright light and can be used when direct line of sight is not possible. The system also offers a choice of 14 channels to avoid interference from other nearby radio signals and allows lighting rigs to be positioned behind the camera, letting you adapt to each shoot without limitations.

TTL and High-Speed Sync

With support for Sony TTL flash metering the Wireless Commander also allows for manual flash shooting for complete control. Reaching flash sync speeds up to 1/250 second, or up to 1/8000 seconds in High-Speed Sync (HSS) shooting mode, you can take full command of ambient lighting to shoot beautiful wide aperture photos.

Built-in Sync Terminal

Perfect for a studio environment, the commander can directly trigger connected strobes and monoblocks via a PC sync terminal.

User-Friendly Design

The FA-WRC1M is designed to pair easily with FA-WRR1 radio receivers. It features a backlit LCD screen and an intuitive button layout with a large rotary selector dial for quick and easy navigation through menu settings.

Long Battery Life

Boasting around 12 hours of battery life with standard AA or Ni-MH batteries, the commander is designed to be dependable for long shoots.

Compatibility

The Sony FA WRC1M Wireless Radio Commander features a Multi-Interface foot compatible with select Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras and Sony Alpha flash units like HVL-F60M, F43M and F32M.
