An incredibly close minimum focus distance of 18cm in manual focus or 24cm in autofocus, gives you more options for closeupsubjects and enhancing the background bokeh.

Settings at Your Fingertips

The Sony 24mm 2.8 has various controls on the lens for quick adjustments and more creative control. With ergonomics built into the design, control of the lens is practical and smooth.

An aperture ring allows for quick changes to aperture without skipping a beat, it can be set to either click through changes to aperture in 1/3 steps or seamlessly controlled without click stops.

Depending on the content that you are capturing, you can choose the precision of the click aperture or the smooth transition of the click-less. The full range of aperture is available from F2.8 to F22 and easily visible F stop engravings on the lens let you see your setting at a glance.

A Linear Response Manual Focus Ring gives you a wonderful response with finite control of your focus, especially handy when taking video.

A focus mode switch allows for quick changes between manual and autofocus. In addition, a focus hold button allows you to focus from the lens, this button can also be customised in camera.
