Features Eight Audio Recording Modes For Targeted Pickup
Super-directional
Designed for recording clear sound from the front while suppressing ambient noise. Perfect for video recording or streaming where the subject is speaking close to the unit.
Uni-directional
Captures sound over a wider area in front of the microphone, making it ideal for recording conferences and meetings.
Omni-directional
Picks up sound equally from all directions, suitable for recording the sound of the surrounding environment.
Super-directional (Rear)
Records sound primarily from the rear of the microphone, with the front sound being picked up at a lower level. Ideal for shooting scenery while providing narration from behind the camera.
Super-directional (Front+Rear)
It picks up sounds from the front and rear with less sound from the left and right sides, which is suitable for recording interview videos.
Super-directional (Front/Rear) separate
Picks up equally from the front (1ch) and rear (2ch), allowing for level adjustment in post-production. Ideal for interview video recording.
Stereo
Provides realistic positioning of the left (1ch) and right (2ch) sides within the stereo sound field. Perfect for recording moving objects like cars or trains and for music or theatrical performances.
Ultra-directional
Picks up sounds from the front (within approximately a 30-degree width) while effectively suppressing other sounds. This dynamically adapts to ambient sound in the surroundings and is ideal for shooting scenes where the subject is always in the centre of the frame, such as interviews and selfies.
Featuring a Quad-Capsule Design
Incorporating a Quad-Capsule design, the ECM-M1 extends the beamforming technology for exceptional versatility and a wide range of pickup patterns, suitable for multiple roles in a production environment.
