The SmallRig "Night Eagle" Cage for Nikon Z 8 4316 offers premium protection and versatile expansion options with a sleek design. The cage features a unique gun brown finish complemented by gold accents, enhancing the classic style of the Nikon Z 8. It uses a three-point locking system, securing the camera with a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and two M2.5 screws on both sides, while built-in pads prevent scratches. Full access to all buttons, card slots, flip screen, and battery door is maintained. A detachable cold shoe mount, with a positioning pin to prevent deflection, is perfect for mounting an LED video light or microphone. The cage offers a variety of mounting options, including 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes for Side Handles 2093 & 3814, Top Handle 3765, Monitor Mounts 2903 & 2904, Manfrotto Quick Release Plates 1280 & 2458, Power Bank Mounts 2336, and mini V-Mount Battery Plate 2987. It also includes side 1/4"-20 locating holes for attaching Single Rod Clamp 3598 and Magic Arm 3873, while the left NATO rail allows quick attachment of NATO Side Handles 3847 & 4017. The cage also features strap holes for Hand Straps 3848 & 2456, and a QD socket for a quick-release strap buckle. The Arca-Swiss quick-release plate at the bottom is compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro stabilisers, enabling seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and stabiliser setups. A double-ended wrench is included for easy assembly and disassembly.
