The SmallRig Arca-Type Quick Release Plate 3154 is specifically designed to securely attach to camera cages with two 1/4"-20 screws, solving the twisting issue present in the original Arca Plate, which only used one 1/4" screw for attachment. The plate is extended by 10mm compared to the original Arca plate, offering increased left and right adjustment range for mounting cameras with unique shapes, such as the BMPCC 4K camera with a cage. The distance between the two locking 1/4 screws is 18mm, ensuring compatibility with most SmallRig cages, including those for the Sony A7S III (Cage 2999), Canon R5/R6 (Cage 2982), and Nikon Z-series cameras (Cage 2926). The open-middle design allows easy access to most camera mounting screws, enabling quick and efficient removal of the camera from the cage for transfer to a tripod or other mounts. Additionally, the plate features rubber pads to protect the camera cage.
