Employing the latest optical design technology, this lens integrates 14 elements in 11 groups, featuring three aspherical lenses and one SLD glass element. The result is effective suppression of various aberrations such as astigmatism and field curvature that cannot be corrected in-camera. Beyond its optical excellence, the lens delivers swift and quiet focusing, ensuring excellent tracking performance. This versatility makes it suitable for a range of situations, including low-light environments, capturing moving subjects, and videography.

  • Prime standard-length lens designed for full-frame Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras, however, can also be used on APS-C models where it provides a 75mm equivalent focal length.
