Wide Angle 28mm Focal Length
The Sigma 28mm f1.4 DG HSM lens Canon is a modern take on a popular wide-angle focal length. An addition to their amazing Art series, the lens is available for Canon, Nikon, and Sony mounts. The 75.4° wide angle of view is excellent for architecture, landscape, and night photography.
Bright F1.4 Aperture
Complementing the wide focal length is a bright f1.4 aperture. It offers excellent depth of field control, letting you get creative with background and foreground focus. Not only that, but the wide aperture also performs brilliantly in lowlight, making it great for nightscapes and astrophotography.
Hyper-Sonic Autofocus Motor
The Sigma 28mm lens uses a Hyper-Sonic Motor to control its autofocus system, resulting in smooth, reliable autofocus and subject tracking. This makes it much easier to shoot video, or capture clear photos of subjects in motion.
17 Elements in 2 Groups
The optical design consists of 17 elements in 2 groups. This includes two FLD elements, for excellent light transmission and drastically reduced chromatic aberration. It also has three Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements and Sigma’s Super Multi-Layer Coating to reduce ghosting and flare, for images with improved colour and contrast.
Rounded 9 Blade Diaphragm
A diaphragm with 9 rounded blades helps create a more visually pleasing ‘bokeh’ effect in your out of focus highlights and background elements. Pairing beautifully with the wide aperture, you can achieve some really amazing depth of field separation between your subject and background.
Weather Resistant Design
