Designed specifically for full-frame image sensors, the Samyang 50mm T1.5 UMC II Nikon Full Frame VDSLR/Cine Lens is a precision-engineered manual focus photo lens tailored for professional film and video projects. Equipped with a focus gear ring compatible with follow focus systems, this lens allows for seamless aperture adjustments using uncoupled aperture gear rings, ensuring quiet and smooth operation. Additionally, for added convenience, distance scales and T numbers are clearly marked on both sides of the lens.

The Samyang 50mm T1.5 UMC II Nikon Full Frame VDSLR/Cine Lens is a manual focus lens with a low T number. You can control the lens precisely when shooting under various exposure environments including relatively dark or too bright situations. This lens features 9 lenses in 6 groups including 1 glass aspherical lens (ASP), and 1 hybrid aspherical lens (H-ASP) to offer high resolution. Especially, H-ASP minimises colour aberration to realise exceptional image quality and high contrast for centre and corner of image even when aperture is fully opened. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology of Samyang Optics optimises the light penetration and minimises flare and ghost. With such optical construction, it has 0.45m of minimum focal length to take photos of subjects in near distance.

There are 8 aperture blades designed to be almost a full circle when the aperture is closed, which expresses starlike ray clearly and beautifully. The frame of the lens is compact and solid as it is made of high-strength aluminium alloy so you can create trustworthy images. Also, the detachable petal-shaped lens hood minimises flare and ghost by sheltering lens from unnecessary light.

The Samyang 50mm T1.5 is a VDSLR lens for full frame image sensor size. The lenses produce the same image colour and have a united location of aperture and focus gear ring to maximise the convenience when filming.
