This lens is built with meticulous attention to detail for professional film and video work, featuring a focus gear ring that's perfect for follow focus systems. You can adjust the aperture smoothly and quietly using the uncoupled aperture gear ring. With T numbers marked on both sides of the lens, guiding the actual amount of light transmission and distance scales, filmmakers can achieve precise shots every time. Operating on a manual aperture system with low T numbers, this lens ensures natural shooting even in diverse lighting conditions.

As the Samyang 35mm photo lens does, this cine lens also has an outstanding optical function. It features 12 lenses in 10 groups including 2 high refractive index lenses (HR) to compactify the size of lens and increase the sharpness. Glass aspherical lens (ASP) minimises colour aberration to realise exceptional image quality and high contrast for centre and corner of image even when aperture is fully opened. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) technology of Samyang Optics optimises the light penetration and minimises flare and ghost. The Samyang 35mm T1.5 is known for its beautiful and soft bokeh. It adapts a floating lens system to find the minimum focus distance. There are 8 aperture blades designed to be almost a full circle when aperture is closed which expresses a starlike ray clearly and beautifully.

The lens can be used both in photography and cinematography, perfect for amateurs and professionals. The frame of Samyang 35mm T1.5 is compact and solid as it is made of high-strength aluminium alloy so trustworthy images can be captured even under inferior environments. Also, the detachable petal-shaped hood shelters the lens from unnecessary light. Filter size is 77mm.

The lenses produce the same image colour and have a united location of aperture and focus gear ring to maximise the convenience when filming.
