Directional Audio Pickup

Weighing only 42g, the lightweight design incorporates a high quality cardioid condenser microphone capsule to deliver excellent quality sound. Its directional characteristics focuses on audio directly in front of the camera, effectively reducing distracting peripheral noise from either side of your shot.

Lightweight Aluminium Construction

Constructed from aluminium, the Video Micro also ensures a high level of RF rejection. Its exterior has been coated with a black high-grade ceramic, anti-glare coating for added protection against scratches, dings and accidental damage during everyday use.

Includes Rycote Lyre Shock Mount

The included Rycote Lyre anti-noise, anti-shock mount dramatically reduces unwanted handling noise caused by physical knocks and bumps during recording. Made from a hard-wearing thermoplastic material, the Lyre system will never wear out, sag or snap, providing superior longevity compared to elastic suspension style shock mounts.

Convenient Cold Shoe Mount

The Rycote mount sits on top of a standard flash cold shoe, making it compatible with most DSLR and Mirrorless cameras. The cold shoe also features an integrated cable management system, further reducing unwanted vibrations caused by loose cables.

Includes WS9 Windsock

A high quality WS9 synthetic furry wind shield is also included with the VideoMicro. It features an foam inner cell for maximum protection against unwanted wind and environmental noise.

No Batteries Required

Powered by your cameras plug-in power (min 3V required) the microphone also includes a Rode SC2 TRS patch cable to allow you to plug directly into your cameras external microphone port for use straight out of the box.
