Internal Analogue to Digital Conversion

With an audiophile quality 18-bit resolution and a 48kHz sampling A/D converter, the Podcaster processes all of the analogue-to-digital conversion internally. Its design bypasses the computer's lower quality on-board sound controller entirely to offer an uncompromised output.

Convenient Built-in Headphone Monitoring

A headphone output on the microphone body provides zero-latency monitoring, so the user can hear exactly what is being recorded, free of delay or echo, making monitoring a breeze.

Internal Pop-Filter

The Podcaster also features an internal pop filter, designed to minimise plosives sounds that can overload the microphone capsule and distort the audio output. A simple volume control dial on the rear allows you to quickly and easily adjust levels without fuss.

The RODE Podcaster Broadcast USB Microphone includes a generous 3 metre USB cable and sturdy RM2 microphone ring mount. We recommend a PSM1 shock mount and PSA1 boom arm for convenient, more permanent recording set ups.
