Improved Locking Strength and Weight Capacity

The Phottix Varos Pro BG Multi-Function Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder is nearly 300% stronger than earlier models, with an improved locking mechanism to secure the threaded insert. The 180° tilting mechanism can support up to 30kg, making it versatile enough for a wide range of gear.

Teardrop Shaped Umbrella Mount

The Varos Pro BG has a teardrop-shaped mount that can accommodate umbrella shafts from 7 – 10mm in diameter. The mounting point is also on an 8° slant which provides a better angle for more light to hit the centre of your umbrella.

Cold Shoe and Threaded Mounting Options

On top of the Varos Pro is a metal cold shoe, allowing you to easily position flashguns and other equipment. There is also 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch female threaded inserts and 3/8 inch and 1/4 inch screws that provide strong, secure mounting options.

Hanging Hole with Carabiner Clip

The bottom of the Varos Pro features a hanging hole that can be used to attach a counterweight, or other items, directly to the mount. A carabiner clip is also provided for easy attachment options.
