Enables Remote Power Control

The Odin system preserves TTL functionality with the camera able to automatically set the flash unit to an intelligently chosen light output. Users can fine-tune light output via remote power control of each lighting group either in TTL (3 stops positive or negative) or Manual flash control. A:B ratio control of power output is also available, which is perfect for quickly setting dramatic portrait lighting.

Wireless High Speed Sync

Odin trigger and receiver pairs retain High Speed Sync capabilities with synchronisation down to 1/8000 second shutter speeds. Second curtain flash synchronisation and remote flash head zoom adjustment functionality is also retained.

Compatibility with Phottix Triggers

The Odin TTL transmitter is also able to trigger the Strato 4-in-1 and Atlas II receiver units. Strato and Atlas Transmitters are not able to trigger Odin receivers.

Ongoing Support

Compatibility
Compatibility depends on the unit selected.

The Sony version of the Odin is compatible with Sony Digital Cameras and Flashes. Some third party TTL flashes may function with the Phottix Odin.

Odin Transmitter and Receiver units only have Minolta hotshoes. For cameras with newer ISO hotshoes, an adapter from Sony (not included in package) is needed to attach the transmitter onto cameras with an ISO hotshoe or to mount an ISO hotshoe flash on the receiver.

The Nikon version of the Odin is compatible with Nikon Digital Cameras and Flashes, Phottix Mitros TTL Flash for Nikon. Compatible with the following Nikon flash; SB-400, SB-600, SB-700, SB-800, SB-900, SB-910, Phottix Mitros TTL Flash for Nikon.

Please note cameras; D70 and D70s not compatible.
