The Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Trigger Transmitter is built to work with the separately available Ares II receiver. The system can wirelessly trigger your off-camera hot shoe flashes or strobe lights from up to 150m away. The Ares II system has 16 channels and 4 groups, allowing you to trigger multiple lights. Digital ID Codes ensure your flashes aren’t accidentally set off if you’re working near other photographers or have more than one studio set-up.

Transmitter for Wireless Flash Control

The Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Transmitter can be used to trigger manual off-camera flashes and studio strobes from up to 150m away, whether you’re in studio or on location. The Ares II system uses 4 groups, A to D, and 16 channels to operate several flashes effectively.

2.4 GHz frequency and Digital ID Secure Triggering

Operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency limits interference with flashes and strobes in the area. Further to this, the Ares II offers secure triggering with user defined 4-digit ID codes. This is especially useful if working around other photographers and ensures they don’t accidentally trigger your lighting.

Universal Hot Shoe Mount and Fast Sync

With a universal hot shoe, the transmitter is compatible with most camera and their hot shoe flashes, including Sony, Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic, Fuji and Olympus. The Ares II system offers a maximum sync speed of 1/250 second, which is useful when working with high shutter speeds.

Backlit LCD and AA Battery Power

The Ares II Wireless Flash Transmitter is powered by 2 x AA batteries which are conveniently available and provide efficient power to the unit. The backlit LCD is easy to read and incredibly handy for checking settings and status.
