The Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Trigger Set comes with both the Transmitter and Receiver which work together to control your shoe-mounted flash units or studio strobes within a range up to 150m. The system has 16 channels and 4 groups allowing you to easily trigger multiple flashes. It operates on a 2.4GHz frequency for minimal interference and features user defined digital ID codes to ensure that only you can trip your flash set-up when you want to.

150m Transmitter and Receiver Range

The Phottix Ares II Wireless Flash Trigger Set comes with a transmitter and receiver to wirelessly control your studio strobes and shoe-mounted flashes. Both function within a range of 150m, giving you plenty of options for both in studio, or on location set-ups.

16 Channels and 4 Groups

Both transmitter and receiver support 4 Groups (A-D) and 16 channels which provides a flexible set-up for multiple flash units. The first four channels on both receiver and transmitter work with the Phottix Strato II System featured on the Indra series studio lights.

Operates on 2.4 GHz Frequency with Digital ID Function

The Ares II set operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency for limited interference from other wireless devices. It also has a Digital ID Code function allowing you to set a 4-digit pin code with compatible flashes, ensuring your lighting set-up can’t be accidentally trigger by other nearby photographers.

Universal Hot Shoe and Cold Shoe

A universal hot shoe on the transmitter fits most camera's, while the hot shoe on the receiver fits most popular speedlight brands. The receiver also has a 3.5mm sync port that allows studio strobes to be used and a cold shoe with a 1/4-inch thread for mounting onto supports and brackets.

Backlit LCD Screens on Receiver and Transmitter

A backlit LCD screen on both the receiver and transmitter is bright and easy to see, offering a convenient, fast way to check and change the settings on the fly.

Powered by 2 x AA batteries

The Phottix Ares II Wireless receiver and transmitter are each powered by 2 conveniently available AA batteries. This ensures they can be used with ease and are built to last through extended shoots.
