Ultra-Compact, Lightweight Design

Weighing a mere 1.27kg (carbon fibre version, including the ball head) and folding to just a smidge over 39cm in length, the Peak Design Travel Tripod is capable of carrying up to a massive 9kg in weight. Offering an uncompromising approach, the tripod has been cleverly designed to handle everything from camcorders to full frame DSLRs and telephoto lens combinations.

5-Section Quick Release Leg Locks

The 5-section leg design is combined with a triangular tube structure to offer maximum space saving efficiency. You can open and close all the quick-release leg locks at the same time, allowing you to quickly setup or break down the tripod - perfect for those fleeting moments when you’re really trying to chase every second of available light.

Integrated Ballast Hook

The centre column also features a ballast hook, making light work of shooting in windy situations by simply hanging your camera bag to the base for additional support.

152cm Maximum Height

Fully extended, the tripod is capable of a maximum working height of 152cm, including the centre column raised. For low to the ground shots, the leg angle can be adjusted to near 90° after removing the centre column. Alternatively, the centre-column can be reversed to allow extreme low-angle or macro photography work, allowing you to shoot from as low as 14cm off the ground.

Innovative Compact Ball Head Design

The clever ball head design saves space by recessing into the top of the tripod crown. It features no protruding levers, knobs or dials to create a streamlined silhouette that slides easily into the drink bottle pocket of most bags.

Omni Directional Movement

The heads innovative single adjustment ring enables omnidirectional movement and locks into place with a separate locking ring. The quick release plate integrates with the Peak Design Capture Clip and is compatible with most Arca-type plates on the market.

Smartphone Compatible

The Peak Design Tripod is also smartphone compatible, housing clever removable smartphone mount hidden in the base of the centre column.
