Built-in Image Stabilisation

The quality lens components are combined with a built-in Power O.I.S image stabilisation which minimises camera shake to ensure critical sharpness, especially when shooting with slow shutter speeds and in difficult low-light scenarios.

Bright F/1.7 Aperture

The bright f/1.7 maximum aperture is constructed from a 7 bladed circular design that delivers beautifully rendered out-of-focus backgrounds. The ultra-fast aperture makes it possible to achieve excellent subject separation, helping to remove distractions from your shot and allow the viewer to be naturally drawn to your intended subject.

Stepping Motor Autofocus

Critical focus of fast moving action is achieved via its internal focus drive system. A built-in stepping motor delivers smooth, silent operation that works well for photo and video applications. Its design is compatible with the sensor drive technology that is found on specific Lumix cameras, delivering high-speed AF performance at a maximum 240fps.
