Leica Superzoom Lens with Fixed F/2.8 Aperture

Featuring an extended 24x superzoom range from 25-600mm, the Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens can photograph wide environmental and landscape photos, close up portraits, macros (as close as 1cm) and distant horizons with ease. The bright maximum aperture of F/2.8 is available throughout the entire zoom range, giving users the ability to use shallow depth of field for beautifully isolated subjects.

Panasonic's innovative 4K Photo feature makes it easier than ever to capture the perfect moment. Extract a frame from an ultra-fast 30 frames per second burst sequence on the camera and save it as an 8-megapixel photograph (4K Burst, 4K Burst Start/Stop mode). Where full resolution is required, the camera fires as quickly as 12 frames per second, and is ready to shoot within 0.88 seconds of start-up. Never miss a moment!

4K Pre-Burst records a sequence one second before and after the shutter button is pressed, ensuring even unpredictable shots are easily taken.

Post Focus Function

A revolutionary Post Focus option allows photographers to capture a scene and decide the focal point later. The Post Focus combines the camera's existing Depth from Defocus autofocusing and movie capabilities to record roughly one second of MP4 video at 30 frames per second. During this recording, the camera's autofocusing system scans the lens around the subject, moving from the foreground to the background to cover the entire scene. In playback mode the focal point can then be selected by simply touching the point that you want to appear sharp. The camera automatically selects the optimum frame and gives you the option to export it as a 8 megapixel JPEG image.

High Speed Auto Focusing with DFD

Panasonic's Depth From Defocus (DFD) technology provides lightning fast autofocus speeds down to 0.09 seconds, when used with the electronic viewfinder. Capture even the fastest moving sports and action!

OLED Electronic Viewfinder

A high resolution (1,440k-dot) OLED Live View Finder with 10000:1 contrast helps users compose and frame their images even in strong sunlight. The large 0.7x magnification of the OLED LVF lets users see fine details and assess focus. Featuring a 3.0-inch 1,040k dot rear screen with tilt and swivel movements, users have the freedom to find unique perspectives and angles for their photo and video footage.
