The Olympus PRF-ZD72 PRO ZERO Protection Filter is a straightforward 72mm filter designed to guard your lens from dust, scratches, moisture and other elements that can cause damage. This optically clear filter won't affect the quality of your images, so you can rest easy knowing your lens is protected.

The thin Zuiko Extra-Low Reflection Optical (ZERO) coating works to produce a clear and high-contrast image by reducing reflections. The coating also benefits from the vacuum deposition method to prevent scratches and ensure stable low-reflective performance. A fluorine coating has also been applied to the filter surface, which aids in cleaning and also better resists fingerprints and other surface markings.

The optical glass filter is set within a one-piece satin black aluminium ring, which lessens the likelihood of vignetting if used on a wide-angle lens. There is also a black coating on the glass edge to reduce reflections. Additionally, the ring features front threads for attaching additional filters or lens caps.
