The NiSi 70x100mmReverse Nano IR Soft Edge Graduated Neutral Density Filter – ND8 (0.9) – 3 Stop, is designed especially for landscape photographers to shoot with wide angle lenses directly into the sun or in other contrasting light conditions. It allows the balance of different light levels to create images with a greater dynamic range than is usually possible.

Reverse ND Filter

This Reverse Soft Graduated filter provides a 3 stop reduction in light. Reverse filters operate in a similar way to a standard graduated filter except that the darkest section of the filter is generally the middle of the filter rather than the top. The bottom of the filter is generally clear with the top being slightly darker it gradually gets dark towards the middle. It allows you to compose the sunset and sunrise scenes with ease, balancing 3 different exposure levels evenly throughout your frame.

Nano Coating & Infrared Protection

The Nano Coating on both the sides of the filter reduces glare and reflection, allowing you to capture stunning colours with high contrast while still retaining the sharpness in your photographs. The Infrared protection coating layer saves you from red cast in your photos caused by infrared light especially noticed while shooting with small apertures. Both the sides of the filter are also treated with an oleophobic coating that keeps it smudge free and makes it easy to maintain. The filter can be used with 70mm standard filter holder.

Filter Compatibility

The 70 x 100mm filters are compatible with the NiSi 70mm filter holders and also with other 70mm standard filter holders. The 150mm length of the graduated filters allows repositioning the transition zone of the filter in the holder to ensure much greater flexibility when positioning the filter on your image.
