The NiSi 70mm Starter Filter Kit comes with the filters, holders, and tools required to start shooting better landscape and long exposure photography. Consisting of a filter holder, polariser filter, a neutral density and a soft graduated filter the set is designed for the smaller lenses commonly used with mirrorless and CSC cameras.

70mm Aluminium Filter Holder

Compatible with 70x80mm and 70x100mm filters, the starter filter kit includes a filter holder that holds up to two square filters and attaches to your lens via an adapter ring that holds a circular polariser filter. You can rotate the CPL filter with precision using an integrated control gear to modify the intensity of the polarisation, without needing to remove the square filters.

Attaches Quickly and Securely

It is easy to attach and remove the filter holder using the pull-out knob to lock the holder securely to the adapter ring. Foam gaskets on the rear side of the filter ensure a snug fit in the holder slot to prevent light leakage and vignetting for maximum image quality.

62mm Circular Polariser Filter

Included in the kit is an ultra-slim 62mm Circular Polariser that reduces reflections by filtering out polarised light. This reduces glare from non-metallic surfaces and allows you to capture images with enhanced colour saturation, perfect for landscape photography.

Increased Exposure Control

Neutral density filters reduce the light that reaches your cameras sensor without affecting the colour by creating a uniform darkening of the entire image. This effect can help you create artistic motion blur or shallow depth of field shots. Graduated ND filters allow you to selectively darken parts of the frame, perfect for landscape photography to balance high contrast scenes.

70x80mm Nano IR Neutral Density Filter - ND64

This ND filter provides a 6-stop reduction in exposure that enables you to explore shooting with longer exposure than normal, it also gives you greater control over the depth of field of your composition.

70x100mm Nano IR Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter - GND8

This Soft Graduated filter provides a 3-stop reduction in light. It is darker at the top and gradually clears towards the bottom with a soft transition from dark to light. Soft grad filters are best suited for landscape photography where there are bright skies and dark foregrounds.

Clear Optical Glass with Nano, IR and Super Multi-Coating

Constructed from high quality optical glass, the filters are manufactured with precision and polished to ensure consistent results. The filters feature double side infrared protection coating to cut IR light as well as an anti-glare nano-coating that reduces reflection to ensure more light can pass through the filters. A super multi-coating on both surfaces ensures the filters are hydrophobic, oil stain and scratch resistant.

Wide Compatibility

The filter holder is designed to be used with lenses with 58mm filter threads that mount to the adapter ring, the adapter can also be attached to lenses with other filter sizes with the use of optional adapters. The holder is compatible with 70 x 80mm and 70 x 100mm filters and can also support other brands of filters.

Engineered with CNC processing and crafted from aviation grade aluminium, the kit is designed to be durable, lightweight and able to withstand a range of temperatures. With a matte black frosted surface and black nickel plated screws, it is corrosion resistant and robust enough to withstand constant usage.

Crafted from a durable bi-cast leather, the Ni Si 70mm Filter Starter Kit includes a convenient hard case to store and transport the kit. Equipped with separators, the interior is customised to hold the filter holder, adapter, and up to four 70mm square filters. An adjustable shoulder strap allows you to comfortably carry the case across the body.
