NiSi 15mm f/4 Sunstar Super Wide Angle Full Frame ASPH Lens - Sony E Mount
The NiSi 15mm f/4 Sunstar Super Wide Angle Full Frame ASPH Lens combines a compact design with an exceptionally ultra-wide field of view, making it ideal for landscape, seascape, night, architecture, interior, and nature photography. Its expansive 112° angle of view is enhanced by an advanced optical design that includes aspherical and low dispersion elements, ensuring well-corrected, sharp, and colour-accurate images. Featuring a manual focus design, the lens allows you to work with subjects as close as 0.2m (7.87 inches) away.
Did you know? The NiSi 15mm f/4 Sunstar Super Wide Angle Full Frame ASPH Lens features a unique aperture design that contains 10 straight blades allowing for Sunstars from f/4 to f/22 and optimal image quality throughout. This breaks the paradigm of requiring a small aperture to create a Sunstar.
The lens elements are made of optical glass and comprise of one double-sided aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements. It features minimal chromatic aberration, minimal distortion and vignetting. It utilises anti-reflection technology in order to improve light transmittance and reduce lens flare and stray light. NiSi's hard surface coating technology improves the toughness and waterproofing of glass elements.
The NiSi 15mm f/4 Sunstar Super Wide Angle Full Frame ASPH Lens has a minimum focal distance is 0.2m which creates stunning visual impact for close-up foreground subjects and looks great including a light source creating a Sunstar.
The compact form factor design supports standard 72mm circular filters and 100mm filter holder systems. This allows you to shoot while experimenting and enjoying the use of filters with ease using a compact system with a lens with a 112° field of view.
The Super-wide prime is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras but can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 22mm equivalent focal length.
