The Nikon Z7 leverages over 100 years of manufacturing experience to deliver one of the most anticipated cameras in recent memory. Aimed squarely at professionals and serious enthusiasts Nikons first Full Frame Mirrorless camera is a technological marvel that pushes the envelope for speed and image quality.

45.7 Megapixel Full Frame Sensor

At its heart lies a 45.7 megapixel full frame BSI CMOS sensor which delivers sharp, high-resolution imagery and 4K Ultra High Definition video. Its back-side illuminated design ensures clean, low-noise results up to its native ISO25600, expandable to ISO102400 for superior exposure versatility when shooting in low-light scenarios.

Expeed 6 Image Processor

Powered by the new EXPEED 6 engine the Z7 takes the superior resolving power of NIKKOR Z and NIKKOR F mount lenses to deliver images rendered more sharply than ever before. Noise is effectively reduced for confidence in low-light shooting while 20 options of Creative Picture Control, supporting creative imaging expression are also available.

493 Autofocus Points

A staggering 493 AF points covering approximately 90% of the frame to deliver pin-point accuracy when focusing and virtually eliminate the need to recompose your shot if your subject is towards the edge of the frame.

Hybrid Phase and Contrast Detect AF

Its hybrid Auto Focus system uses an algorithm optimised for the full frame sensor, to automatically switch between focal-plane phase-detection AF and contrast-detect AF with focusing. The use of NIKKOR Z lenses further maximises AF accuracy with both still images and movies.

Tracking & Face Detection Algorithms

Sophisticated algorithms are employed in conjunction with the updated EXPEED processing engine to provide subject tracking, face detection and predictive AF performance. Ideal for sports and wedding or portrait shooters, it ensures razor sharp results when capturing moving subjects or shooting with extremely bright, shallow depth of field lenses.

Built-in Vibration Reduction

Further bolstering image sharpness is the Z7’s sensor VR system (vibration reduction). Working to supress unwanted movement, it delivers an impressive 5-stop exposure advantage when shooting hand held. This results in sharper results for stills, steadier footage when filming video and additional exposure versatility when shooting in low-light.

4K 10-Bit Video Quality

When it comes to video performance, the Z7 truly steps out of the shadow of its DSLR predecessors. The mirrorless design has allowed the integration of a plethora of video features including 10-Bit HDMI out, E-VR /Time Code compatibility, Focus Peaking, Zebra, a new N-Log flat shooting profile, 8K Timelapse, and much more. When combined with a compatible external recorder like the Atomos Ninja V, the Nikon 4K 10-Bit N-Log clean output can be converted to HDR in real-time, for super-accurate HDR monitoring.

3.6 Million Dot Quad VGA Viewfinder

Have complete confidence in your composition and focusing thanks to the 3.6 million dot Quad VGA electronic viewfinder. Working in all lighting conditions, the EVF incorporates an aspherical glass element to provide a wider field-of-view with sharp detail all the way to the edge of the frame. Additionally a fluorine coating which effectively repels dirt has been applied to the eyepiece protection window, ensuring a easy cleaning experience.

3.2-inch Tilting Touchscreen

For a more relaxed shooting experience a large 3.2-inch tilting touchscreen can be utilised for framing images and browsing menus. The touchscreen functionality ensures an intuitive menu navigation and playback experience.

OLED Info Panel Display

The top of the camera features an OLED panel display, similar to most DSLRs. Handy for glancing at settings, it allows experienced photographers to quickly adjust their exposure when shooting from the hip. Great for street photography and candid moments.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Connectivity

Built-in WiFi & Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity in conjunction with the Nikon SnapBridge app delivers instant sharing with friends, family and your favourite social networks. Wi-Fi also allows the camera to be operated remotely, allowing you to position the camera in a dangerous or hard to reach location while you shoot from the safety of the sidelines.

Weather Sealed Body

Made from a tough yet lightweight combination of carbon fibre and magnesium alloy, the Nikon Z7 features a weather sealed monocoque body, capable of withstanding the punishing schedules of seasoned photographers. A redesigned shutter mechanism is rated at 200,000 actuations for supreme longevity and reliability.

Includes Nikon FTZ Lens Adapter

Leverage the rich history of Nikon F-Mount lenses with the included FTZ Lens Adapter. Perfect for existing Nikon users, the adapter allows you to mount most modern F-Mount lenses whilst retaining autofocus, aperture control and EXIF data in the image.
