The Nikon Coolpix A1000 is a stylish and compact camera with a strong focus on ergonomics and versatility. High Power 35x Optical Zoom

The Coolpix A1000 allows you to take images from far away with an incredible 35x optical zoom range (24-840mm in 35mm equivalent) to bring distant detail closer. The zoom range can be boosted up to 70x using the dynamic fine zoom function capture scenes that can’t be seen with the naked eye.

Snap Back Zoom

A useful snap back zoom function button located on the side of the camera’s lensmeans that with asimple press and hold you can pullback the zoom to the widest field of view, making it easy to locate a fast-moving subject or to work out exactly where to point your lens. Just release the button to zoom back in to the original zoom setting as quick as possible so you can capture your shot.

3-Stop Vibration Reduction and Hybrid VR

With a built-in optical system, the camera offers 3-stops of stabilisation that, combined with the large comfortable grip, make it easier to capture sharp images using the zoom function. When shooting video, a Hybrid VR system uses a combination of optical and electronic vibration reduction to deliver the most stable video possible.

High Resolution 4K Video and Full HD 60p

The Nikon ultra-zoom camera captures ultra-high-resolution 4K video with stereo audio as well as Full HD video at up to 60p for ultra-smooth movie recording. Frames from the 4K UHD video can even be exported as a still imageso moments captured on video can live on as photos.

High-resolution EVF

One of the best features of the A1000 is the high-resolution electronic view finder designed to make shooting intuitive and easy. It can be used to compose a shot with confidence, even in bright weather conditions. Just lift the camera to your eye and the camera automatically switches from the rear LCD to the EVF.

3-inch Touch Flip Screen

Ignite your creativity and capture images from new perspectives using the flip LCD screen that tilts 135° up and 180 ° down allowing you to shoot a variety of images from flat lays to down low shots. The screen responds to touch and can be flipped all the way around tocapture the perfect self-portrait.

Nikon Active D-Lighting Technology

In order to get the absolute best performance possible out of the image sensor, Nikon have equipped the camera with sophisticated Active D-Lighting software that reduces the loss of detail in the highlights of your shot, while also boosting the brightness of the darkest shadows in the scene. The camera is also equipped with 20 creative modes to add a pinch of fun to your photography.

GPS and Connectivity

The Nikon Coolpix A 1000 is jam-packed with extra features to take your photography to the next level, with a built-in GPS system, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth connectivity and support for the latest version of Nikon’s SnapBridge. This allows you to transfer images automatically, remotely control your camera and trigger the camera shutter all from your mobile device.
