Two Fluorite lenses are combined with Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass elements to deliver vivid, high resolution images with vivid colour reproduction.

Nano Crystal & Fluorite Lens Coatings

A Nano Crystal Coating is paired with a fluorine coat to work in tandem with the fluorite elements and effectively help reduce flare and ghosting while improving contrast and colour saturation across the entire frame. The fluorine coating is also effective in repelling dust, water, grease and dirt, allowing you to shoot with confidence in the harshest of environments.

Slip-In Filter Holder

A slip-in filter holder lets you further maximise your creative potential, allowing you to use 40.5mm filters such as polarisers to bring out most in your photos.

Customised VR Modes

Two VR modes equip you with the ability to fine-tune your image stabilisation requirements to suit your specific shooting scenario. Delivering an advantage equivalent to 4 shutter speed stops, the VR can be set to Normal or Sport which offers improved viewfinder stability, enhanced blur reduction capabilities and is ideal for capturing high-speed subjects.

Outstanding Tracking AF Performance

Tracking subjects and high-speed movement during continuous shooting is made easy with AF tracking and Auto Exposure control. An aperture blade unit and drive mechanism are controlled via electric signals from the camera body to allow improved long-distance accuracy during burst mode shooting of fast and erratic moving subjects.
