Fits 2 DSLR Cameras with Grips and 4–6 Lenses

Built to satisfy your carrying needs, the Backlight Elite is perfect for high-end photo gear with ample space for up to 2 DSLR or mirrorless cameras with battery grips, along with 4–6 lenses plus room for other equipment such as a Mavic drone, speedlights and accessories or personal gear. The main compartment has customisable padded dividers that can be setup to fit a lens as large as an unmounted 600mm f/4 telephoto.

Stash Master Compatible

The Backlight Elite is also compatible with the MindShift Gear Stash Master 13L (sold separately). Simply replace its included padded cell with the Stash Master 13L and free up the remaining space in the main compartment for personal items.

Dual Camera Access

The bag is designed to allow you to unzip the rear compartment for maximum visibility and accessibility. This design makes the bag easier to pack while allowing you to visually confirm your packing list for peace of mind that all your gear is accounted for. No more rummaging through 5 different compartments trying to remember if you packed something!

Multiple Accessory Sections

Accessory pockets line the rear panel of the Think Tank Backlight Elite 45in the lid can be accessed. Making them the perfect place to store your SD card wallet, microfiber cloths, and other cleaning accessories.

Padded Laptop and Tablet Pocket

The front of the bag houses a dedicated padded sleeve for a 15-inch laptop or hydration reservoir. The expandable design of the 17L front pocket means it’s a great spot for other medium sized items such as clothing, food, cables, chargers, batteries and other camera accessories. Multiple cinch straps allow you to truly fill it with gear and strap it down when you're on the move.

Top-Down Camera Access

The top of the bag can also be used to access your camera gear, allowing you to customise how and where you pack your equipment based on your shooting needs or personal preference. The lid features a quick-access zip pocket which is ideal for storing a mobile phone or passports while a beanie or gloves can be stored in the pocket at the front.

Convertible Waist Belt

The top lid section can be detached completely and converted into a removable waist belt with enough storage to carry food, a compact camera and other personal necessities. Great for short hikes and day missions from base camp.

Tripod Cup Built-in

The front of the pack features a hidden tripod cup to hold the legs of most professional sized tripods. The cup tucks away neatly when not in use while a top strap can be cinched to keep your tripod securely attached at all times.

In addition to your photo gear and 17 litres of personal items the Backlight Elite backpack also has daisy chain, lash points and attachment loops throughout its design which allow you to carry hiking poles, a large jacket, rope, mountain axe or climbing equipment depending on what activities you have planned. The side pockets hold large water bottles and can also be cinched for added peace of mind on especially demanding trails.

Removable Padded Waist Belt

Designed to allow you to comfortably carry all your gear the pack features a padded “quick fit” waist belt that is easy to adjust as well as an adjustable sternum slider for weight distribution. The back panel of the bag has an airflow channel and a large padded lumbar support, which combined with the dual density honeycomb mesh foam used in the curved shoulder straps provide all-day carrying comfort.

DWR Water Resistant Coating

The Backlight Elite is designed to go wherever you need it. It is constructed from constructed hard-wearing 420D rip-stop nylon and with a DWR water resistant coating for all-weather protection. A lightweight aluminium frame supports the load and improves overall rigidity.

Heavy Duty Waterproof Base

The front and top areas of the backpack most likely to be exposed to abrasion and the elements are reinforced with high-performance Sailcloth for added peace of mind. The base of the bag is bolstered with heavy-duty waterproof tarpaulin, ensuring water is not absorbed into the camera compartment if your bag remains on the ground for extended periods.

Includes Rain Cover

The Mind Shift Gear Backlight Elite 45L also includes a seam sealed rain cover that can be used to protect against heavier downpours. Your equipment is protected with YKK AquaGaurd zippers that have easy-to-grip pulls that ensure they can still be operated while wearing gloves.
