The Miller DS20 SOLO-Q 75 2-Stage Tripod is a lightweight and compact tripod system that provides smooth and accurate pan and tilt control for cameras and rigs up to 9.97 cm. It includes the DS-20 fluid head, carbon fibre legs, a carry strap and a tripod bag for storing and transporting your equipment.

The head features a sliding balance plate, independent pan and tilt locks, variable pan and tilt drag, a precision bubble level, and an integral 75mm ball for leveling. The included Solo carbon fiber legs feature two stages, providing a height range of 14.9 to 69.5", while selectable leg angle locks ensure rapid setup and excellent stability without a spreader. The 75mm bowl allows for quick leveling, optimum torsional rigidity, and long term durability.

Multi-Step Pan & Tilt Fluid Drag System

The DS-20 fluid head incorporates Miller's Dynamic Fluid Drag system ensuring smooth, consistent fluid drag control across all temperature ranges and through a wide range of light and heavy settings. By being independent of payload weight, the dynamic system ensures smooth "starts" and dead "stops" for precise framing without any backlash. The system is fully sealed within sub-assemblies for a leak-proof, low maintenance life.

Preset Counterbalancing

The DS-20 uses a special designed counterbalanced system, to neutralize the effect of payloads and their centers of gravity. The built-in preset counterbalance system combined with a 60mm sliding camera platform optimizes tilt control in the intended capacity range. Allowing a +90/-70° angle tilt without worrying that the camera will topple.

Quick Release Camera Platform

Fitted with a precision, quick release camera platform that incorporates a sliding balance plate for fine tune payload balancing. The self-engaging action of the camera plate ensures rapid camera attachment in the field, while the built-in safety lock guarantees camera safety during setup and pull-down.

Safe at any temperature

Pressure or temperature does not influence the damping system; it has an operating range from -40°F to +149°F, and works without friction. Shoot wherever you want, from torrid heat to cold climates.

Miller 681 Pan Bar Handle for Select Video Heads

This Miller Pan Bar Handle is compatible with the Miller DS5, DS10, DS20, and Miller Compass 23 fluid video heads. It connects and locks into either side of those heads with a clamp and bolt for right- or left-handed use. A rubberized handle provides a comfortable means to move its aluminum-alloy shaft, which measures 15.4".

This angled pan bar handle can rotate within its clamp, allowing a downward-pointing orientation for right or left-handed use.
