Miller’s AIR Tripod system is a complete support solution with a range of professional features. Comprised of Solo 75 2-Stage alloy legs (1630) and an AIR Fluid Head (1042), the system is lightweight with easy set-up and a payload range of 2-5kg. It can be used for both photo and video applications and provides exceptionally smooth movement, perfect for epic panoramic shots.

2-5kg Payload Range

The Miller AIR system is capable of supporting up to 5kg, making it an ideal companion for most DSLR set-ups and video cameras. The 2 selectable counterbalance steps allow you to use the system with a wide range of cameras and other video equipment while ensuring the head can be correctly balanced depending on the load.

Miller AIR Fluid Head

Miller’s AIR Fluid Head (1042) is designed with videographers in mind and has features that are reliable and intuitive, like bubble-levelling and selectable counterbalance points. The head is made from die-cast alloy, leaving it lightweight without compromising strength. The AIR’s constant fluid drag system provides incredibly silky tilt and pan action for smooth starts and soft stops in all temperature ranges.

Quick Release Sliding Plate

A quick release sliding plate is included with the AIR Fluid Head, ideal when you need to remove your camera and shoot handheld at a moment’s notice. It also provides 60mm of travel and can be locked in place, allowing easy and precise balancing of your camera set-up.

Pan Handle and Bubble Level

The AIR Fluid Head (1042) comes with a comfortable, fixed length pan handle with room for an optional second handle (sold separately) if you need it. The bullseye bubble level on the AIR head is conveniently placed and easy to read, making balance quick and simple.

Removable Ball Stud

The ball stud at the base of the head fits neatly into the Solo Tripod’s 75mm bowl and is removable, allowing for attachment to levelling bases or sliders, depending on your requirements.

Miller Solo 75 2-Stage Telescopic Alloy Legs

The AIR Tripod System uses Miller Solo 75 2-stage aluminium alloy (1630) legs to provide strength and balance, as well as easy set-up and take-down for solo operators. Each section has a quick action, self-adjusting Rapid Lock, making height adjustment intuitive and incredibly secure. The top leg sections are padded with neoprene for a comfortable grip when carrying and added protection when the tripod is folded down.

3-Position Angle Locks

The tripod legs have 3 selectable angle lock positions that allow for an amazing height range, while maintaining its rock solid stability. From the maximum height of 161cm to a super low 23cm, the legs lock securely in position, giving you the ability to capture interesting angles without worrying about your camera becoming unsteady.

75mm Integrated Bowl

The Solo tripod features an integrated 75mm die-cast alloy bowl that accommodates the included Miller AIR Fluid head perfectly. The ball stud on the fluid head fits securely into the bowl, offering quick levelling and long term durability. A bubble level is also included on the bowl itself.

Rubber Feet and Leg Spikes

The Solo 75 is equipped with rubber feet that grip well on smooth or flat surfaces. When conditions are a little less than ideal, the rubber feet wind up, revealing a solid set of spikes for added traction.

Weatherproof Carry Bag

Rounding out the Miller AIR Tripod system is a weatherproof, padded soft-case designed to fit the AIR tripod kit perfectly, making transport safe and easy.
