Adjustable Legs with Four Angle Positions

The tripod provides users a choice of four leg angle positions to maximize their creativity by positioning the tripod in different ways. Its rubber feet deliver the required traction to work on slippery surfaces. The 290 Xtra's 3-section legs feature flip locks which make it easy to adjust the length of the legs individually. Each lock's tension can be adjusted to help extend the tripod's lifespan.

Engineered for Versatility

The 290 Xtra's rapid centre column is designed to add flexibility in fine-tuning the required height for perfect compositions. The column can be extended by 23cm to give the tripod a maximum height of 169cm, equipping you with the ability to quickly and accurately alter your shot height without affecting its horizontal position.

128RC Micro Fluid Head

Manfrotto’s 290 XTRA Tripod includes a 128RC Micro Fluid Head. Built to last, it is solid, quick to adjust and provides fluid movement, making it ideal for a DSLR or video camera up to 6kg in weight. The head features a pan bar for pan/tilt operation with independent pan and tilt locks. With 360° pan and -60° to +90° tilt, it ensures enough freedom to shoot static angles or creative panning or tracking scenes. Also featured is a 200PL type quick-release plate with a 3/8" head mounting thread for safely attaching and removing your camera from the head.
