As a Zero-D lens, its optical design is specifically meant to limit distortion for clear and accurate portrayals of landscapes and architectural subjects. The lens incorporates a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control both spherical and chromatic aberrations, improving sharpness and reducing colour fringing. A Frog Eye Coating repels dust and moisture from the front element, making it ideal for challenging environments. Its sleek, lightweight design is perfect for everyday shooting and use on gimbals. Additionally, a built-in petal-shaped lens hood reduces flare and ghosting in strong lighting conditions.
