The Laowa 7.5mm f/2 is a tiny yet powerful ultra-wide angle lens designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras. It boasts the same excellent build quality as the rest of the Laowa lens range, and features a control ring for added convenience. With its fast f/2 aperture, it performs brilliantly in low light and its 110° angle of view is perfect for landscape, architectural and aerial photography.
Ultra-Wide Angle Lens for Micro Four Thirds
Designed for use with Micro Four Thirds cameras, the manual Laowa 7.5mm f/2 lens has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 15mm. Infinite focus calibration is very accurate, and its ultra-wide 110° angle of view is ideal for shooting landscapes and architectural photography.
Fast f/2 Aperture
The bright f/2 aperture captures sharp, clear images and provides good performance in low-light environments. Featuring a smooth, click-less aperture ring, the lens offers excellent control and convenience at your fingertips.
Distortion Reduction
As one of the widest rectilinear lenses available for Micro Four Thirds cameras, the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 virtually eliminates distortion, which is often seen with some wide-angle lenses, producing accurate, high-quality images with excellent colour and contrast from edge to edge.
Moisture and Dust Repellent Coating
This little lens also features Laowa’s own ‘Frog Eye’ hydrophobic coating on the front element. It actively repels dust and moisture, preventing it from gathering on or smearing the front of your lens, ensuring that photos are clear and sharp.
Minimum Focus Distance of 12 cm
With an impressively short minimum focus distance of 12 cm, the Laowa 7.5mm f/2 lens allows you to get in tight with your subject so you can better explore range of unique perspectives that can be captured with a super wide field of view.
Compact, Lightweight Build
An extremely compact aluminium body ensures the Laowa 7.5 mm f/2 MFT lens is durable, yet lightweight. At only 5.5cm long and 0.140kg, the lens is perfect for photographers that like to pack light. It can even be used with drones for aerial photography, adding another layer to its versatility.
