The Nikon F-mount Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro Lens is a prime portrait-length lens that excels in both macro and general photography. It allows you to photograph close-up subjects as near as 2.4" with a 2:1 magnification ratio, while also enabling you to capture distant subjects with infinity focus and a 0.1x magnification. This manual focus, manual aperture lens eliminates the need for extension tubes or adapters, making it versatile for various shooting scenarios. Optimised for DX format sensors, it provides a 90mm equivalent focal length, though it can also be used on FX format DSLRs with some potential vignetting at infinity focus. The lens features a nine-element in seven-group construction, with two moving groups to reduce barrel distortion and maintain high clarity, sharpness, and colour accuracy. A rounded 14-blade diaphragm delivers smooth out-of-focus quality, ideal for selective focus and close-up work. The lens includes a built-in hood to prevent flare and ghosting and comes with a protective filter pouch and a 62mm UV filter.
