Capable of supporting professional DSLRs and accessories weighing up to 5kg, the Joby Gorillapod 5K Pro Rig gives you flexibility to work in any space. The flexible legs can be positioned on a table top, wrapped around poles or adjusted into a comfortable handheld grip for your camera. The rig kit includes two flexible arms perfect for attaching accessories like lights and microphones, while the ball head provides 360° degree panning and 90° tilt. An Arca-Swiss plate and two cold shoe mounts ensure compatibility with a large range of gear.

Ball Head with Quick Release Plate

Starting from the top, the Joby GorillaPod 5K Rig features the rugged 5K BallHead with 90° tilt and 360° panning with a handy rotation scale. It can support up to 5kg of gear, perfect for DSLR cameras and accessories. The Arca-Swiss quick release plate lets you attach and remove your camera easily.

Removable Hub Plate and Accessory Arms

The 5K Rig includes Joby’s new Hub Plate adapter. It has two 1/4-inch threads on either side to accommodate a range of accessories, like lights and microphones. Alternatively, you can attach the two included GorillaPod Arms to the Hub Plate to give your gear some extra height and mobility.

Grip, Wrap and Stand Modes

Featuring ten ball joints in each leg, the portable tripod can be wrapped around poles, positioned on a flat surface or readjusted into a handhold. The ball joints can rotate to extreme angles, maximising versatility and allowing you to shoot in small or difficult locations.

Durable Metal Construction with Rubber Feet

Both the legs and accessory arms are built using Joby’s patented design with high quality plastic, steel, and anodized aluminium for enhanced durability. Rubber tipped feet and grip rings allow the tripod to be securely positioned or wrapped around poles and handle bars without slipping.

Mounting Strap with Quick Release

A removable strap is included so you can carry the Gorillapod Rig kit easily with the rest of your gear. You can also use it to wrap around thicker poles or trees for even more versatile framing options. The strap also features a quick release system so you can easily move on to your next location.

Cold Shoes and GoPro Mount Options

The Joby Gorilla Pod PRO 5K Rig’s arms feature two cold shoes accessory mounts and a three-pronged mount that’s compatible with the GoPro system. This makes it easy to attach accessories as well as your action camera for B-cam footage or an additional point of view.
