Fujinon S1640 Stabiscope Series Binoculars

The Fujinon 16x40 S1640D Stabiscope Binoculars feature gyroscopic stabilization technology that effectively counteracts any movements applied to the binoculars, whether due to shaky hands or motion from a speeding watercraft. Unlike other stabilizers, the Stabiscope binoculars offer 5° of compensation along any axis, allowing users to aim the binoculars straight up or down, at the zenith or nadir, while still enjoying stable viewing. This makes the Stabiscope an ideal choice for law enforcement use from a helicopter, providing stable observation even in challenging conditions. With its 16x magnification, this unit is designed for longer-distance observation, with a minimum distance of 167'.

The Stabiscope also is compatible with multiple power sources. They can be powered with 12-32 VDC electrical systems found on most land, sea, and air vehicles, as well as four AA batteries or a single 2CR5 battery.

The Stabiscope binoculars are designed for either left- or right-hand use, and optional accessories include polarizing filters and eyecups.
