The Fujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens is designed specifically for Fuji X-Series mirrorless cameras. With an advanced optical construction, the lens can take advantage of the full performance of Fujifilm's proprietary X-Trans CMOS sensor to deliver pin sharp results. This mid-range telephoto lens offers a 120mm equivalent focal length and a 1:1 magnification ratio, allowing you to capture stunning up-close images. Five-stops of optical image stabilisation combined with a bright f/2.8 aperture make it possible to shoot sharp handheld images, even in challenging lighting conditions.

1:1 Macro and 25cm Focusing Distance

The 80mm Fujifilm macro lens offers a 1:1 magnification ratio for life-sized reproduction, projecting images at their actual size onto the sensor. This combined with a close focusing distance of 25cm make the lens great for macro photography of small subjects like insects, flowers, jewellery & other small objects.

Sophisticated Optical Design

Exceptional image quality across the entire frame is made possible thanks to an advanced optical configuration that makes us of 16 elements that are arranged in 12 groups, including one aspherical element to minimise distortions and spherical aberrations. In addition, one Super ED element and three extra-low dispersion elements control chromatic aberrations and fringing to deliver high quality imaging results.

Super Electron Beam Coating

The optical performance of the lens is bolstered by Fujifilm’s proprietary High Transmittance Super Electron Beam Coating (HT-EBC) that is used to increase image contrast by reducing lens flare while also minimising ghosting. This coating when combined with the optimally positioned aspherical elements ensures outstanding edge-to-edge sharpness in any shooting situation.

5-Stop Optical Image Stabilisation

The bright f/2.8 maximum aperture is complemented by a five stop built-in optical image stabilisation system that uses gyro sensors and an accelerometer to detect and compensate for bumps and shakes giving you the ability to shoot handheld without compromising on detail. The stabilisation is excellent for videographers and macro shooters who want more steady shots.

Floating Focus System

The lens boasts an all-new floating AF system that separates the focus optics into two separate lens groups that are driven depending on the shooting distance for sharp results at any distance. The system uses a linear motor for high-speed, ultra-precise and silent AF performance perfect for a wide range of different shooting situations.

Internal Focusing Mechanism

Thanks to an internal focusing mechanism, the lens does not extend as your focus. This is ideal for macro photography as the front element of the lens won’t accidentally bump your subject as you focus.

Built-in Focus Limiter

A handy focus limiter switch allows the quick customisation of the lens for close range shooting between 0.25 - 0.5m or for far away subjects at 0.5m and more. This reduces focus hunting and substantially improves both the speed and the accuracy of AF system.

Weather Sealed Design

With 11 special rubber seals, the lens is very well protected from dust, moisture and water splashes, so that you can confidently operate it in a wide range of weather conditions. The lens is even rated at temperatures as low as -10°C. To make the lens easier to clean, the front and rear elements are treated with a water and oil repellent fluorine coating that repels moisture, fingerprints and smudging.

Compatible with 1.4x and 2.0x Teleconverters

The Fujifilm XF 80 mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens is compatible with the optional XF1.4X TC WR and XF2X TC WR that extend the effective focal length enhancing its versatility as a telephoto macro and portrait lens.
