Fujifilm XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Lens (Silver)
Sporting a sleek profile and a versatile focal length range, the silver XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ from Fujifilm offers a 23-69mm equivalent zoom, characterised by its compact, retractable design. As the first power zoom lens in the X-series lineup, it provides electronic zoom control for smooth focal length adjustments. The lens also features an optical image stabilisation system that minimises the appearance of camera shake by three stops, ensuring sharper handheld images. Its optical design incorporates aspherical and extra-low dispersion elements to enhance sharpness and clarity, while a Super EBC coating reduces flare and ghosting, delivering improved contrast and colour accuracy.
- Standard zoom is designed for Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 23-69mm equivalent focal length range.
- Two extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce colour fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to produce high clarity and colour fidelity throughout the zoom range.
- Three aspherical elements control distortion and spherical aberrations, which helps to improve sharpness and realise more accurate rendering.
- Super EBC coating has been applied to individual elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and colour fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
- Power zoom design allows for easy switching between focal lengths and two separate speeds can be selected depending on how the zoom ring is rotated. When recording video, the zoom will move at a constant speed in order to produce a smoother, more pleasing motion.
- Using the power zoom capability, the lens also features a retractable design for a more compact form factor when not in use. Additionally, when the camera is turned on, the lens will automatically extend into position for shooting.
- Stepping motor, along with an internal focusing design, affords fast and quiet autofocus performance that benefits both stills and video applications.
- Optical image stabilisation minimises the appearance of camera shake by 3 stops to better enable handheld shooting with slower shutter speeds.
- Rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out-of-focus quality to benefit the use of selective focus and shallow depth of field techniques.
Fujifilm XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS II Lens
Lightweight Telephoto Lens
The Fujifilm XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS II is a great short to medium telephoto lens, weighing less than 0.4kg. It has a stepping AF motor that provides fast and quiet autofocus, plus an optical image stabilisation system that gives 3.5 stops of shake reduction for keeping your shot steady.
Short to Medium Telephoto Focal Range
Designed for Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless cameras with APS-C size image sensors, the 50-230mm provides a 35mm equivalent focal range of 76-350mm that allows you to easily capture faraway subjects. Ideal for covering local sports events, capturing stunning portraits or taking pictures of animals and birds in the wild.
Detailed Optical Design
The Fujinon XC50-230mm uses a 7-bladed circular aperture which combined with the telephoto focal length of the lens creates a beautiful bokeh in the out-of-focus areas of your shot. 13 optical elements arranged into 10 groups. One is an aspherical element, and another is an ED (extra-low dispersion) element, which combined with the HT-EBC (High Transmittance Electron Beam Coating) that improves light transmission, allows you to capture incredibly fine image detail.
3.5 Stops of Optical Stabilisation
When shooting with a telephoto lens each knock and bump can be exaggerated when shooting handheld, resulting in blurry shots and nauseating video footage. The XC 50-230mm has a built-in optical image stabilisation system with 3.5 stops of vibration reduction that reduces shake, so you can capture sharper images and more stable video.
Ultra-fast and Quiet Stepping Focus Motor
Fuji have designed the lens with both photographers and videographers in mind, which is why it uses a high precision stepping motor autofocus system that delivers quick and reliable performance. The stepping design not only ensures speed but also nearly silent operation that is perfect for filming candid moments.
Performance Blended with Portability
The Fujinon XC 50-23mm elegantly fuses optical performance with an incredibly lightweight design that makes it ridiculously portable. Weighing less than 0.4Kg, you'll barely notice the weight, but you will notice the extra zoom range when shooting faraway subjects.
