The AK4500 supports most cameras from a minimum payload of 150g to a maximum of 4600g. This makes it’s perfect for mirrorless cameras such as the Sony a7 and a9 series, Nikon’s Z range, Canon’s EOS R range and Panasonic’s Lumix G series as well as DSLRs like the Nikon D850, or the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.

Improved visibility of the rear LCD is achieved with a repositioned rear motor that is angled to avoid the back screen being blocked.

Unique Shooting Functions

The gimbal introduces cutting-edge shooting modes like the Vlog Selfie and TikTok style vertical shooting push the envelope of creative filmmaking, as well as some old favourites like the inception and auto-rotation modes. This is in addition to the standard pan follow, pan and tilt follow, and all lock modes that are traditionally found on gimbals.

Touch LCD Screen

The AK4500’s is one of the few gimbals that has a touchscreen that is designed to make selecting different modes & changing settings intuitive. The gimbal also includes a lock screen function to prevent accidental setting changes.

USB Camera Control

Feiyutech have includes USB ports on the side of the mounting arm that can be used in combination with the provided cables to allow operators to adjust settings directly from the gimbal itself using the control wheel and touchscreen.

Large Control Wheel

A large multi-functional control knob can be used to adjust focus, change camera settings or to even change the sensitivity of the gimbal.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Functionality

Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity ensures that the Feiyu ON APP can be used to calibrate and and update firmware on the gimbal. The app can also be used to modify the motor strength when heavier gear is mounted.

12 Hour Battery Life

The AK 4500 uses four 18650 batteries, each with 2200mAh capacity that combines to deliver an impressive 12 hours of operation time when balanced correctly. Using the provided battery charger the batteries can be fully charged in around 5 hours.

Supports a Range of Accessories

The Feiyu-tech AK 4500 3-sxis gimbal can be expanded with a range of included accessories like the AKFII, a motorised brushless follow focus system, as well as Feiyutech’s Hyperlink Remote Controller for wireless camera and gimbal control. The remote controller is ideal when collaborating with large teams by adding control for a second operator.
