20 Channel Transmitter

The Skyport combines a a 20-channel transmitter with a large backlit LCD screen that is capable of displaying every light in your setup. The Skyport Plus HS will control the modeling light and flash intensity of BRX, D-Lite RX, ELC Pro HD, and ELB flash heads as well as the EL-Skyport Transceiver RX for the Style RX, Digital RX, and Ranger RX systems.

Hi-Sync Technology

With its built-in Hi-Sync technology, the 1/250th maximum sync speed of standard flash heads and wireless triggers is a thing of the past. With the Sykport Plus HS photographers can simply switch to Hi-Sync mode and access sync speeds up to 1/8000s to freeze motion, overpower the sun, darken backgrounds, or use a wider aperture. A Over Drive Sync (ODS) function allows users to fine tune the transmitter's trigger signal to optimize exposure at high shutter speeds while gaining up to two more f-stops of light.

AF Assist

The Skyport Plus HS also includes an autofocus assist feature to help cameras focus in low light situations. This avoids using the flash unit's modelling light which drains battery power

Visual Feedback Interface

The large backlit LCD display is designed to be easy to use in a wide range of lighting conditions. The two-way control interface displays the exact power of every light in your setup directly on the LCD of the Skyport transmitter. From there you can control each light's power level and modelling lamp setting wirelessly, instantly updating the power settings on the compatible flash head. You can see and control up to 10 different EL strobes with the HS transmitter.

Impressive Wireless Range

The Skyport HS has 20 Canon frequency channels that can be used for either Normal or Speed mode, and a wireless range of 200m outdoors and 60m indoors. It also features an integrated AF Illuminator for faster focusing and a mini USB socket for firmware updates. Users can instantly distinguish what sync mode they are in since the backlit display glows green for normal sync mode, and red for speed sync mode.

Compatibility
1st Generation
• EL-Skyport Transceiver RX module (Style RX, Digital RX, Ranger RX)
The units with the transceiver RX can be detected but their power levels will not be displayed. Their power levels can however be adjusted.

2nd Generation
• Integrated EL-Skyport module Mk1 (BRX, D-Lite RX,Quadra, Quadra Hybrid)
These units can be detected with their power levels displayed and adjusted.

3rd Generation
• Integrated EL-Skyport module Mk2 (ELC Pro HD and ELB)
These units can be detected with their power levels displayed and adjusted. This generation also offers extended distance range.
