The edelkrone DollyPLUS PRO  are designed for cinematographers who want to create long ultra-smooth dolly and orbit shots without carrying the track, just add your tripod and you’re ready to go. Edelkrone have essentially created motorised wheels for your video tripod but not only can the DollyPLUS and DollyPLUS PRO be used to capture smooth cinematic motion, but they can also be controlled wirelessly from a mobile device.

Motorised Tripod Movement

Take your filmmaking to the next level by adding some motorised camera movement. A simple side-to-side motion can keep your audience’s attention, while a dolly forwards builds tension and anticipation. But that’s not all, the DollyPLUS and PLUSPRO can also rotate around a subject as if on a curved track to add a subtle parallax to interviews or create unique orbiting shots.

Compact Folding Design

The Dolly PLUS and Dolly PLUS PRO has been designed for cinematographers who travel relatively light, with two folding arms to support the legs of your tripod that fold away easily for transport. Made to capture cinematic movement without the bulk of dolly tracks, the motorised dolly can operate on any flat surface and only weighs 7-7.5kg.

Backlash Free Gears and Stepping Motors

Using a new mechanical design, the motorised dolly uses backlash free gears to enhance the power and performance, ensuring the motors have enough grunt to handle cinema rigs. As well as dual stepping motors, the Dolly+ and Dolly+ Pro also use high-res encoders for precise accuracy with low operational noise making them perfect for small sets and interview locations.

Compatible with HeadONE and HeadPLUS

Combine the edelkrone DollyPLUS or DollyPLUS PRO with a single HeadONE unit to add motorised panning motion or add two units to create incredible 3-axis movements with control over the slide, pan and tilt axes. It can also be easily combined with the HeadPLUS and HeadPLUS PRO system, and the entire system can be controlled at the same time from the edelkrone mobile app so complex, easily repeatable movements can be programmed with pinpoint accuracy.

Supports up to 20kg

The motion control devices are available in two different versions. The DollyPLUS with a carrying capacity up to 13.6kg, and the DollyPLUS PRO which has been designed to support up to 20kg. The DollyPLUS is designed to be powered by either the LP-E6 or NP-F style batteries whereas the DollyPLUS PRO is made for V-Mount and Gold Mount type batteries.
