Celestron 40" Telescope and Tripod Bag is an all-in-one storage system, ideal for transporting your telescope setup with ease and confidence to any place. It allows the user to transport the case either via the pair of sewn-in handles or an optional, clip-in padded shoulder strap for hands-free carrying.

Ultra-durable Material

The Telescope Soft Case is made of weather-resistant 900 denier polyester. To secure your gear, the walls are lined with 16mm thick EPE foam. For added protection against small bumps, the bottom panel is reinforced with a rough PVC layer. Strong rubber elements on the exterior add strength and resistance to the design.

Design your Custom Case

The case features a soft polyester interior lining with three EVA foam padded walls that can be configured. You are able to create custom compartments for your optical tube, mount, and tripod by using Velcro to position the foam walls in the exact configuration required for your equipment.

When your gear is securely stowed inside, you can use the internal straps to keep it in place. You'll have some additional interior space with shorter tubes to store extra accessories.

The case comes with a bonus 9" x 12" padded accessory bag and an external zippered pocket for eyepieces and other accessories, in addition to the configurable compartments inside. Besides, with sewn-on fabric loops, you can simply clip more accessories to the exterior of the case.
