The Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM is the ideal super-telephoto lens for capturing those special moments. With In-Body Image Stabilisation and Optical Image Stabilisation, you'll get crystal clear images and high quality video footage no matter the environment.

Wide zoom range

Boasting a huge 100-500mm zoom range, this lens offers countless possibilities. It is ideal for sports, nature and wildlife photography, and is additionally a great addition to news shooting for documentaries, newspapers and magazines. Due to the focal length variety the lens is armed with, it can replace the need for carrying multiple lenses, meaning your kit will be lighter and easier to handle.

Image Stabilisation

To reduce the appearance of camera shake, the lens is fitted with a 5-stop Image Stabiliser. There is an additional IS mode switch, which allows you to select what mode you want to shoot with; IS mode 1 or still subjects, IS mode 2 for panning and IS mode 3 for irregular movement.

High quality video recording

Along with in-lens Optical Image Stabilisation and In-Body Image Stabilisation, you can combine these with the Movie Digital IS. This feature allows you to capture seamlessly smooth video, even while you are walking or on the move.

Beautifully portray the blur effect

The use of UD lenses and optical design effectively suppress colour aberration from blurring I the defocus region. This blurring in the foreground and behind the focused area is natural, so it is possible to create a three-dimensional feel to the image.
