10 Pigment Ink System with Exceptional Longevity

The professional printer utilises a 10 colour pigment based ink set, Chroma Optimiser and the Optimum Image Generating System to create prints with an impressive large colour gamut and accurate colour reproduction. Three shades of monochrome inks ensure that black and white images have rich but subtle tone grading with excellent density, just like a classic dark room print.

Featuring ten individual Lucia pigment inks, prints achieve exceptional longevity with permanence ratings in excess of 200 years when paired with appropriately archival photo and fine art papers.

Extremely Fine Details

With the ability to print at a maximum 4800 x 2400 dots per inch and a print head with 7,680 microscopic nozzles, precise, tonally excellent and beautifully rendered prints are easily achieved. To cater for increasing pixel density in high end professional cameras, the printer supports 1200 pixel-per-inch (ppi) input resolution resulting in prints with extremely fine details, even up close.

Fast Printing Speeds

Fast print speeds of approximately 5.5 minutes for A3+ bordered colour prints help optimise printing workflow, particularly when producing large quantities of prints or bodies of work for exhibitions, editions and sales. New Print Studio software printing plug-in integrates with Adobe products including Lightroom, Photoshop and Elements for simplified management of printing.

Professional Colour Control

Canon Pixma PRO Mode analyses image colour gamut and makes minor adjustments to ensure prints directly match the image output of a calibrated screen. ICC profiles are included with the printer for all Canon papers including glossy, matte and fine art papers. Profiles enable users to accurately soft proof their images on a monitor or LCD screen prior to printing, assessing any subtle differences that occur from printing on different paper stocks.

WiFi and Network Capable Printer, Perfect for Schools and Studios

WiFi and Ethernet connectivity allow for multiple users, making the Canon Pixma Pro 10s A3+ printer perfect for education environments and schools, art studios, photography labs and even at home. Print directly from a computer, iOS or Android Mobile device via the Canon EPP application. Apple AirPrint, PIXMA Cloud Link and Printing Solutions are also supported.
