Does your camera need a sidekick that’s great for lowlight viewing? Of course it does and the Bushnell 8 x 42mm Forge binoculars are just the thing! They’re compact with a very rugged design that’s right at home in the great outdoors and, with IPX7 waterproof rating, they’re ready to handle anything the weather throws at them. BAK-4 roof prisms are PC3 phase and dielectric coated for the best light transmission and clarity. This is especially noticeable when working in lowlight, ideal for wildlife and landscape photographers that find themselves out and about from dawn until dusk.

Versatile Magnification and Lowlight Performance

Bushnell’s 8x42mm Forge binoculars have a versatile 8x magnification for a good, close look at your subjects, while maintaining a safe distance. Hint: This is great for wildlife spotting and observing. The super-wide 142m @1000m field of view makes it easier to track moving targets and provides good visibility of your environment, great for scouting the perfect spot to set-up shop.

Easy to Adjust Focus

Right between the eyepieces is a large, textured focusing wheel that lets you dial in your focus quickly and easily, even with cold fingers or when wearing gloves. For more focal fine-tuning, the right eyepiece has an adjustable dioptre to customise the viewing experience to suit your eyesight.

Phase Corrected Prisms and Multi-Coated Optics

The BAK-4 roof prisms are prepped and ready to perform. A PC-3 phase coating has been applied to enhance resolution and contrast. There’s also a Dielectric Prism coating that allows an astounding 92% light transmission, resulting in a bright image with vivid colour reproduction. This is what really helps make the Forge binoculars stand out in terms of lowlight performance.

EXO Barrier Lens Element Protection

Not to be forgotten about, the front elements of the binoculars also have Bushnell’s newest (and exclusive!) EXO Barrier coating applied to them. It’s been carefully developed to minimise the chances of dust, debris, and moisture sticking to the lenses. On top of that, it makes the elements easier to clean and dry while offering some protection against minor scuffs and scratches.

Rugged IPX7 Waterproof Design

The Bushnell 8 x 42 Forge binoculars are not afraid of the weather, thanks to their impressive IPX7 waterproof rating. The can handle rain, snow, and even a little dip in the lake for about 30 minutes in up to 1.5m of water. Pretty fearless. The split-bridge design lends to an overall compact form factor that’s easy to grip and use, no matter what conditions you’re in, so go on, get outside more!
