B+W Basic 010 UV Haze Overview

The UV-Haze #010 MRC Basic Filter from B+W is a 77mm filter that reduces ultraviolet light transmission, eliminating the bluish cast from atmospheric haze when shooting outdoors. It also adds a clear layer of protection for the front element of a lens, featuring a water and dirt-resistant coating that protects against scratches and abrasions. Crafted from precision German optical glass, the filter features 7 layers of Broadband coating on each side for high contrast pictures with minimal residual reflection and a uniform light transmission level of 99.5%.

The brass filter ring features an enhanced knurling pattern for improved grip and a special functional coating for smooth mounting and dismounting. The ring features front threads, and its low-profile design makes it suitable for use with wide-angle lenses.
